Registration Information

Applications for all registered welding programs are completed by appointment. Appointments may be scheduled by contacting the LJP Skills Training Inc. administration offices (519) 836-7280 ext. 619. Pre-requisite for registered programs is a high school diploma or successful completion of a basic skills math test. Applicants without a high school diploma may complete the basic skills math test. Student wishing to participate in skills upgrading programs only may make arrangements by contacting info@ljpskills.ca.

Sponsored Students

If your participation in a course is contingent upon receipt of funding, you must confirm your attendance as soon as you receive approval for training from your counsellor. All students will receive placement in a course on a “first come, first serve” basis.

Partially sponsored students are required to pay their portion of the tuition on the first day of classes. A copy of the approved application for funding from your sponsor is required by LJP Skills.

Non-Sponsored Students:

A $100.00 registration fee must accompany the registration form. This deposit will secure your place in the course and will be deducted from the total cost of the course, but is non-refundable. The balance is payable on the first day of class.

Additional Information:

Students will receive the following documents upon registration:

  • acceptance letter detailing course, intake dates & tuition
  • equipment list
  • complaint, expulsion and refund policies as per PCC Act, 2005.
